Lakshya Raj Singh Mewar completed his schooling from Maharaja Mewar School, Udaipur, Mayo College, Ajmer and GD Somani College, Mumbai. School Education: For his further studies, Lakshyaraj took admission in Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Australia. After this he went to Singapore to do a hospitality course. After completing his studies, he started his career as a waiter. He worked in many hotels and cafes in Australia.

After this he returned to Udaipur and started working to teach family business. At present he is the Executive Director of HR Group of Hotels. In 2009–2010, he participated in a workshop on visitor care and safety at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The learnings from this workshop empowered them to improve the safety and security of visitors at City Palace in Udaipur and all the hotel properties of HRH Group of Hotels across Rajasthan.

Lakshyaraj Singh is a cricket lover

Lakshyaraj is an ardent sports lover and is very fond of cricket. In an interview given to BBC, he said- I did not want to leave cricket. But when I was studying in Australia, I was not able to give time to cricket. Therefore, I was forced to leave cricket. He was asked that you could have become a hotel owner even without any degree, then why did you do hotel management? On this, Lakshyaraj said – I believe that whatever business I want to do, I should have good knowledge of it. That’s why I wanted to see practically what hotel management really is. That’s why I did this course.

Passion for luxury cars and bikes

Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar is also very fond of luxury and vintage cars. There are also four Rolls-Royce cars in his vintage car collection. There are many other classic cars as well. When Lakshyaraj Singh bought Mahindra Thar 700 in the year 2019, Anand Mahindra himself gave him the keys to it. Lakshyaraj Singh also has a BSA Gold Star 650 motorcycle.

1. In March 2019, he won the first Guinness World Record by donating clothes to the needy. Apart from India, the collected clothes were collected from cities of other countries including Australia, USA, Oman, Sri Lanka, UAE and delivered to the needy.

2. In August 2019, created the second Guinness Book of World Record by distributing stationery among students in 24 hours. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar ran an education promotion campaign for a month in Udaipur division and distributed educational materials like books, copies, pens, pencils, color books, books etc. to the students of government schools.

3. In January 2020, Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation Trust achieved the third Guinness Book of World Record by planting saplings. Saplings of Amaltas, Gulmohar, Drumstick and Keshiya Shyam trees were planted in Manak Chowk of City Palace to raise the awareness of environmental protection.

4. In January 2021, it won the fourth Guinness Book of World Records by distributing products related to women’s hygiene management in just one hour. Donated products like sanitary pads, hand sanitizer, soap, toothbrush to raise awareness about cleanliness and female menstrual hygiene management during the Corona epidemic.

5. Created the 5th Guinness Book of World Record by distributing sweaters in one hour in January 2022. Took initiative by providing sweaters to needy people during winter season.

6. Established a Guinness Book of World Record by distributing food packets in January 2022 itself. The objective of which was to ensure that no one sleeps hungry and to spread the message of the initiative to every person.

7. On January 2023, under the Seed Future campaign, a Guinness Book of World Records was established by sowing seeds of various types of trees and plants.

Marriage with princess of Odisha

Lakshyaraj Singh was married to Nivrutti Kumari Dev of the former princely family of Balangir, Odisha on 21 January 2014. Nivrutti Kumari Singh is the only daughter of Kanakvardhan Singh Dev and Sangeeta Singh of Balangir family of Odisha. After studying in a convent school in Delhi, she obtained a degree in Hospitality, Finance and Revenue Management in Switzerland. Returned to India in 2010 and worked as a consultant in Hotel Taj.
