When is Parma Ekadashi 2026?
According to Ujjain’s astrologer Pt. Praveen Dwivedi, the Ekadashi date of Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha Adhik month will be from 12:58 pm on Wednesday, June 10 to 10:36 pm on Thursday, June 11. The sunrise of Ekadashi tithi will be on 11th June, hence the fast of Parama Ekadashi will be observed on this day.

How to do Parma Ekadashi fast and worship?
– Follow the rules of fasting from Wednesday, one day before Ekadashi i.e. 10th June. Eat satvik food at night. Follow celibacy.
– On Thursday, June 11, wake up early in the morning and take a pledge to fast after taking bath etc. Don’t lie to anyone throughout the day, don’t get angry at anyone.
– Clean the place where worship is to be done and purify it by sprinkling Ganga water or cow urine. Keep the puja materials at one place.
– Install the idol of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi on a wooden platform during the auspicious time. Apply tilak to the idol of God and garland it.
– Light a lamp of pure ghee at the place of worship. Offer things like kumkum, rice, roli, abeer, gulal, flowers etc. to God one by one.
– While worshiping, keep chanting the mantra Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay Namah in your mind. Offer food to God as per your wish.
– Be sure to keep basil leaves in the offering. After the puja, perform the aarti of Lord Vishnu as per the rituals. Do bhajan-kirtan at night, do not sleep.
– Next day i.e. 12th June, Friday morning, feed the Brahmins and send them off by giving them donations. After this have your meal yourself.
– By observing fast on Parma Ekadashi in this way, happiness and prosperity remain in life and every kind of happiness is also found in life.
