Actor Imran Khan joins students’ protest against NEET paper leak at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park. He supported the students amid the rain and raised questions on the police action.
Student protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar has gained momentum after July 20. Students are protesting on the streets in different parts of the country. On July 22, students demonstrated at Shivaji Park in Dadar, Mumbai, in which Bollywood actor Imran Khan also participated. He extended his support to the students and boosted their morale.
Imran seen with protestor even in heavy rain
Despite the heavy rain in Mumbai, Aamir Khan’s nephew was seen walking with the protesters. He said that he had reached there to show solidarity with the students and support their legitimate demands. Along with this, he also raised questions on lathi charge on students in Delhi.
Imran Khan should speak against lathi charge on students
Students were lathicharged during the Parliament march on 20th July in Delhi. Imran also raised questions on the police action taken against the students. He said that students should be listened to and their problems should be solved instead of suppressing their voices. Videos of his participation in the protest are becoming increasingly viral on social media.
What did Imran say in NEET paper leak case?
Earlier this month, Imran Khan had given his reaction on the NEET paper leak issue through Instagram. they wrote,
If we expect students to appear for exams with complete honesty, then exam conducting bodies have an equal responsibility to ensure transparency and accountability in the process. This principle should not depend on which football team (sorry… which political party) you support.
He further wrote,
“I look at the lakhs of students whose hard work has gone waste due to this scam, and also at the lakhs of people who continue to raise their voices against injustice. You all stand for the betterment of our society and it is my honor to stand with you.”

Protest over NEET paper leak
Let us tell you that the demonstration of students against the NEET paper leak at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar started in the last week of June. After this, on July 20, students took out ‘Chalo Sansad’ march, which later turned violent. At present no consensus has been reached on this issue between the protesting students and the government.
