There is panic after receiving information about a bomb in Bihar Sampark Kranti coming from Darbhanga to New Delhi. The train has been hurriedly stopped at Gonda railway station. After receiving the information, the Superintendent of Police of Gonda, along with 2 ASPs and 1 CO of Civil Police, the city police station along with the dog squad in the train reached the station and started searching for the bomb. RPF and GRP personnel are also checking all the bogies of the train.

According to the information, the train is standing at Gonda station for the last one hour. Most of the passengers are standing at the station after getting off the train. No objectionable thing has been found in the investigation and checking so far. At present, the police and GRP teams are going to each bogie, interrogating people and checking the goods.

Rapid increase in bomb alerts and threats

In the last few months, many incidents of threat to bomb trains and stations have been seen. Recently, on October 30, a bomb threat was given to Hanumangarh Junction railway station in Rajasthan. The threat was received a day before. In view of the threat, all trains passing through the station were checked. Apart from this, along with the passengers sitting on the platform, their luggage was also checked. However, during checking by police and GRP, no objectionable thing was found at the station.

In Tamil Nadu, the alert loco pilot of the Chennai-bound express train applied brakes in time after seeing two stones placed on the train track in Tenkasi district late Thursday night. Srivilliputhur Railway Police said the incident occurred near Kadayanallur. He told that investigation is going on. He told that Sengottai-Chennai Pothigai Express was going to Chennai when the loco pilot saw the stones kept on the track and stopped the train in time. Later, after the stones were removed, the train left for its destination.

One who made false threats arrested from Nagpur

A 35-year-old man, who was allegedly behind a series of false bomb threats at airports and railway stations across the country, has been arrested after he appeared before the Nagpur Police. Jagdish Shriyam Uike, a resident of Arjuni Morgaon in Gondia district of eastern Maharashtra, was sent a notice by the city police to appear for investigation. After this he reached Nagpur by plane and surrendered before the police on Thursday evening.
