The 10th season of Pakistan Super League has started and 3 matches have been played within two days. This is the first time in the history of PSL when the tournament is being organized with the world’s most famous T20 League IPL and the difference between the two leagues is once again visible. The matter is not only about the money that is raining in the game or league, but the PSL is also craving for the fans in their house. To see something similar in Karachi.
The 10th season of PSL started in Rawalpindi from Friday 11 April. On Saturday, the third match of the League was played between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans. The match was played at the National Stadium in Karachi and it rained by both the teams. More than four and a half hundred runs were scored, but to see this match, barely 5 thousand fans were present in the stadium, which discounted the popularity of PSL.
More security than fans
Despite the presence of many Pakistani and international stars like Mohammad Rizwan, David Warner, Hasan Ali, Tim Sifart and James Wins, very few spectators arrived to watch the match. The situation was that the security personnel were stationed and around it for this match more than the audience. A Pakistani journalist put this truth in front of the world and told that only about 5 thousand spectators had reached the match, while 6700 security personnel were engaged for this match.

This complaint is increasing continuously
This is not the first time that there is a shortage of spectators in PSL matches. In particular, complaints of shortage of fans in Karachi have come continuously since the last few seasons and the organizers have also appeared disappointed about it. Not only PSL, but also in international cricket, these situations have been seen in the last few years, when fans have not reached the stadium. Apparently, this situation can be even more serious as the season progresses, which will be a matter of concern for this tournament and Pakistan cricket.
