They paid full amount for this order, but when the delivery was received, the family was shocked. Actually, old phones were kept in two parcels. Whereas in the third parcel, the box was of iPhone, but a bar of soap was kept inside.
In this regard, the victim couple has given a complaint in the city police station of Charkhi Dadri. According to the police, a youth named Vishal living in Gandhi Nagar area has given the complaint. Told that on October 11, he had ordered two iPhones in his name. His wife had also ordered an iPhone. Full payment for these three phones was made at the time of booking itself.
Delivery took place on 20th October
After this, the phones were also delivered to his home on 19th and 20th October 2023. When he opened the first box and saw it, he was shocked. An old phone was kept in this box. In such a situation, he immediately opened the second box, but it also contained an old phone. When the third box was opened, a bar of soap was kept in it. Vishal lodged a complaint in this regard with the police on 31 December.
Case registered in police station
In this he accused the online shopping company and its employees of fraud. City police station in-charge Rajkumar said that a case has been registered on the complaint of Vishal and his wife and investigation has been started. In this regard, a notice has been issued to the company and its reply has been sought. Further action will be taken after seeing the company’s response.
