The company’s official teaser has revealed that the Oppo Reno 16 series phones will come with a powerful camera system. The biggest feature is that Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16 Pro will have a 200-megapixel main camera.

According to the information shared by the company on Chinese social media platform Weibo, these phones will have a triple camera setup in the back. A 200-megapixel primary sensor along with a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens will also be included. Apart from this, an LED flash is also provided. According to reports, despite having the same megapixels, there may be some differences in the camera hardware of Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro.

Meanwhile, there have also been some hints regarding the launch of Oppo Reno 16 series in India. According to reports, about a month after its launch in China, i.e. in July, the Reno 16 series may also arrive in the Indian market. It is being said that four models will be launched in India, which will include Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, Reno 16 Pro Mini and Reno 16 C.

When will it be launched in India

This new series is also attracting attention for its design. The company has confirmed that the standard Reno 16 model will be available in colors like Galaxy Purple, Heartbeat and Moonlight is Dark. It will be offered in many variants ranging from 12GB RAM + 256GB storage to 16GB RAM + 1TB storage. The launch event of Oppo Reno 16 series will take place on May 25 at 6 pm China time, which is 3:30 pm Indian time. Along with the Reno 16 series, Oppo Pad 6 tablet and Oppo Enco Air 5s TWS will also be launched in this event. Pre-reservations for it have already started in China.
