Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [भारत]July 6 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar on Monday took a dig at Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav in a sarcastic social media post. He claimed that after a ‘flop’ program in Dadri, the SP chief has lost the ‘courage’ to hold rallies.

Taking to social media platform X, Rajbhar advised Yadav to ‘wake up’ and claimed that the ground beneath the Samajwadi Party has become ‘hollow’. Rajbhar posted, “Good morning Akhilesh ji. Get up, it’s morning. Maharaj, how much more will you sleep? Listen, today I dreamed that you will remain in this comfortable position till the elections. Meaning, you will keep sleeping like this.”

Akhilesh is unable to muster courage after the flop rally in Dadri.

The SBSP chief further alleged that the lack of public programs from the SP camp was due to the failure of their recent rally. Rajbhar claimed, “That dream reminded me that after the flop rally in Dadri, you realized that your ground has now become hollow. That is why you are not holding any rally. Your own ‘special’ people are saying that after seeing the fate of that rally, you are not able to muster the courage to hold another rally. You are dejected and disappointed.”

‘Only votes of Yadav and Mian Bhai will not work’

Targeting SP’s traditional vote bank and its dependence on digital campaigning, Rajbhar further said, “Just the votes of Yadav and Mian Bhai will not help, friend. Twitter, AC-PC will also not help. So wake up traveler, Bhor Bhai.”

NDA started preparations for 2027

The minister’s comments come after the ruling NDA and Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh started ground work for the 2027 assembly elections.

Earlier on Sunday, speaking about the NDA alliance meeting in Lucknow, Rajbhar stressed that the alliance was working towards an important election goal. Rajbhar said, “BJP national president Nitin Nabin has come to Uttar Pradesh for the first time. Today, he will hold a meeting with the parties included in the NDA alliance… Our aim is to win more seats in Uttar Pradesh by 2017. We are all working in that direction.” (ANI)
