ONE Championship returns with another edition of ONE Friday Fights, broadcasting live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on 25 October, and the card will deliver from start to finish.
Twelve electrifying Muay Thai, MMA, and submission grappling bouts will feature 24 established and emerging martial artists, each competing for a life-changing US$100,000 contact with the organization.
In the main event of ONE Friday Fights 84, two former Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champions will share the ring as Kongsuk Fairtex takes on veteran Muangthai PK Saenchai in an exhilarating 137-pound catchweight Muay Thai bout.
The 24-year-old Kongsuk has been a force to reckoned with since his debut in ONE in June 2023. He has established a respectable promotional record of 5-2 with all his bouts going down to the wire, showing his ability to take opponents into deep waters.
After winning back-to-back fights, the Fairtex Training Center product suffered a couple of losses. However, he bounced back in style, securing three successive wins, and another victory could lead him to secure a main roster contract.
But it won’t be easy for him. Standing in his way is an experienced fighter who has competed in more than 250 Muay Thai fights. Although he has had mixed results in his previous bouts, Muangthai remains a very dangerous opponent who can finish fights in an instant with his devastating elbows.
In the featured fight of the night, 20-year-old Iranian Muay Thai sensation Parham Gheirati, who has won all five of his matches, is very close to securing the prestigious contract. He will be up against British slugger George Mouzakitis in a bantamweight Muay Thai contest.
