The new case has come up from Sisai block of Gumla district. Where on Sunday, people were busy with the enthusiasm of the procession that took place on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. On the other hand, in Sisai block, wild elephants crushed two people, causing them to die.
Two people were killed by wild elephants in Gumla district. This has caused a stir in the entire region and there is an atmosphere of panic among the people. According to the information about the incident, the first incident occurred near Patra forest of Sisai block under Gumla district, where about 60 -year -old Bhola Oraon, who went to the forest. He was attacked by wild elephants and crushed him badly.

At the same time, the second incident also took place in Chharda forest of Sisai police station area of Gumla district, where Mahfooz Ansari, son of Jamiruddin Ansari, a resident of Baghani village, was killed by an elephant by picking up with his trunk. He was making a video of elephants who came to the forest. Then the elephant attacked him. Now in the Sisai police station area, two people have been stirred up in the entire area since the killing of elephants.
The first four people were killed
After getting the information of the case, the police and forest department team of Sisai police station reached the spot and started investigating the whole matter. Earlier in March 2025, wild elephants killed a total of 4 people from Gumla and Simdega district, which included two dead of Bano block of Simdega district, who were identified as Vikas Ohdar and Sibaria Lugun.

At the same time, two deceased from Palkot area of Gumla district were included, who were identified as Hemwati Devi and Christopher Ekka, a resident of Tetar Toli under Palkot police station area. Earlier, in the month of February 2023, a herd of elephants made 4 villagers to death together.
