In the last month of the financial year, the GST collection increased by 9.9 percent to Rs 1.96 lakh crore. This information was given in the government data released on Tuesday. Revenue of GST increased by 8.8 percent to Rs 1.49 lakh crore from domestic transactions, while revenue from imported goods increased by 13.56 percent to Rs 46,919 crore. The total refund increased by 41 percent to Rs 19,615 crore during March. After adjusting the refund, the net GST revenue in March 2025 was more than Rs 1.76 lakh crore, which is 7.3 percent more than this month.

FY earned so much from GST in 2025

Earlier, in the month of February, the government had earned a lot of GST from GST, in February, the GST collection brought Rs 1.84 lakh crore to the government. Talking about January 2025, in this month, the government received Rs 1.96 lakh crore in GST collection. If we talk about the GST collection between 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025, then the government earned Rs 21.72 lakh crore.
