Harnek Singh won the Boys Under 18 Singles title at the , an Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) sanctioned event, in Bhubaneshwar on Saturday, August 15.
Harnek defeated Ayush Pattnaik 15-9 in the final to clinch the title and cap a dominant campaign at the PWR 200 event.
The youngster had earlier produced a commanding performance in the semifinals, beating Satyam Nayak 11-1 to book his place in the title clash. Ayush, meanwhile, secured his spot in the final after getting the better of Shreyan Pattnaik in the other semifinal.
Shreyan bounced back from his semifinal defeat to secure the bronze medal. He beat Satyam in the third-place playoff to finish on the podium.
Harnek’s victory highlighted the growing depth in India’s junior pickleball circuit, with the Odisha Open providing a competitive platform for the country’s emerging players.
The PWR 200 event, sanctioned by the IPA, features competition across multiple categories and forms part of the domestic Pickleball World Rankings calendar.
For Harnek, the title marks a significant milestone in his junior career and adds another name to the growing list of young players making their mark on India’s competitive pickleball scene.
