At present, the hotel located in this palace is run by the “Taj Group of Hotels”, due to which it is also called “Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur”. Taj Lake Palace Hotel Udaipur
The Taj Lake Palace Hotel located on Lake Pichola in Udaipur is also called the Jewel of Mewar. Built in the 18th century, this palace is actually the Jal Mahal of Udaipur, which was built by Maharaja Jagat Singh II in 1746. The Taj Lake Palace is made entirely of marble and you can reach here only by boat. Till 1955, this palace used to be the summer retreat for the members of the Udaipur Maharana family, but in the year 1959, the work of making it a hotel started. Located in the historic city of Alwar, the Neemrana Fort Palace is a magnificent 15th-century fort that has now been converted into a heritage hotel. This magnificent fort with its stunning Rajasthani and Mughal architecture was built in 1464 by Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan III. After renovations that began in 1986, the fort was opened as a 15-room heritage hotel in 1991. Today, the palace has 78 rooms and suites that are known for their architecture, gardens and views. Nestled between the Aravalli Hills, the fort has nine parts, each of which has different types of rooms. Each room here is called by a specific name, which always ends with the word Mahal. One of the most luxurious heritage hotels in Rajasthan, the Lalgarh Palace Heritage Hotel is a magnificent example of intricate Mughal and Rajput architecture. This palace was built in the year 1902 by Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner in memory of his father Maharaja Lal Singh with delicate stone carvings and red sandstone. The palace is designed in such a way that its front part reflects the rich culture and heritage of Rajasthan, while the domes and windows in its back part show the skilled and amazing craftsmanship of the local artisans. This mixture of Rajput, Mughal and European architectural styles was initially used as a hunting ground for the Maharaja and his guests, although later it was converted into a palace and started being used as the residence of the royal family. Nahargarh Ranthambore Heritage Hotel Ranthambore,
Nestled in the Aravalli Hills, Nahargarh Ranthambore is a luxurious heritage hotel in Rajasthan which is a lasting testimony to the rich cultural heritage of the region. From its high walls, tourists can see the breathtaking beauty of the forests surrounding Ranthambore. This fort was built in the year 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, along with Amer and Jaigarh Fort as a part of the security system of the city. The original name of the fort was Sudarshangarh, but it was later renamed as Nahargarh Fort, which means ‘abode of tigers’. In the late 19th century, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh expanded it to include a palace complex, gardens and a reservoir, after which a few decades later it was converted into a heritage hotel.
