The repeated postponements of a relatively simple family entertainer have now raised concerns among NTR fans about his upcoming collaboration with Trivikram.
NTR and Trivikram are teaming up for the second time for a mythological film, reportedly based on Lord Kartikeya and tentatively referred to as God of War. Trivikram is expected to begin work on the project after completing Aadarsha Kutumbam.
However, the troubled production journey of Aadarsha Kutumbam has left some NTR fans questioning whether Trivikram and producer Naga Vamsi can successfully handle a much bigger project with NTR.
Aadarsha Kutumbam, starring Venkatesh, was originally expected to be completed by June and released in August. Instead, the film has faced multiple delays and has now been postponed again, with no new release date announced.
There have also been reports of changes and reshoots following the release of the Tamil film Blast, which reportedly has a similar storyline.
Fans are particularly surprised that Trivikram, who has more than three decades of experience as a writer and over 25 years as a director, has taken this long to complete a film of this scale.
They are now wondering whether he has the creative bandwidth and vision required to mount a mammoth mythological project like God of War.
There are also concerns about Naga Vamsi’s experience in handling a pan-Indian production of this magnitude.
His outspoken presence on social media has frequently drawn attention, but fans are questioning whether his experience will translate into effectively managing a large-scale project involving extensive production requirements and VFX work.
Neither Sithara Entertainments nor Haarika & Hassine Creations, nor Trivikram himself, has so far handled a pan-Indian project of this scale. That is another reason NTR fans are keeping a close watch on the progress of his next film.
For now, these remain concerns expressed by fans. However, the repeated delays surrounding Aadarsha Kutumbam have certainly added to the apprehension over NTR and Trivikram’s ambitious next collaboration.
