Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has started DigiLocker service at metro stations. This service offers the facility to people traveling in the metro to keep their belongings safe. DigiLocker is an electronic locker which is available at metro stations. Passengers can rent DigiLocker using DMRC’s mobile app “DMRC Momentum 2.0”.
Take advantage of DigiLocker service like this
- For this, first download DMRC’s mobile app “DMRC Momentum 2.0”.
- After this sign up in the app or log in to your existing DMRC account.
- Here click on DigiLocker option.
- After this, select the station where you want to take DigiLocker on rent.
- See the list of available DigiLockers.
- Select the DigiLocker you want to rent.
- Fill the necessary details to take the locker on rent. Now make payment here.
After renting DigiLocker, you can open and close the locker using your mobile app. To open the locker, you have to enter the locker PIN in your mobile app.
How much will DigiLocker cost for rent?
For 1 hour: it costs you Rs 50, for 2 hours it is Rs 100, for 3 hours it is Rs 150, for 4 hours it is Rs 200, for 5 hours it is Rs 250 and for 6 hours it is Rs 300.
The time limit for renting DigiLocker is 6 hours. If you use the locker for more than 6 hours, you will have to pay extra charge.
