Delhi Smart Property Card: Delhi government is preparing to give smart property cards to the people living in Lal Dora and Abadi villages. Certified records of the property will be available through drone survey, QR code and digital records.
Delhi Lal Dora News: There is relief news for lakhs of people living in Lal Dora and Abadi villages of Delhi. People who had to face problems like buying and selling, bank loans and legal disputes for years due to lack of proper records of property, now their problems can be reduced. In the review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the progress of the ownership scheme was reviewed and the government gave instructions to speed up the process of issuing smart property cards.
48 villages included in the scheme, survey of 30 completed
According to the Delhi government, 48 villages have been included in the first phase of the Swamitva scheme. Of these, the survey of 30 villages has been completed and their property cards have also been prepared.
So far 12,232 properties have been surveyed. Of these, 8,423 properties have been found dispute-free, which is about 69 percent of the total survey. The government aims to create a certified digital record of every eligible property, so that disputes over ownership are reduced in future.

Digital record will be prepared with drone technology
Modern drone technology is being used in this scheme. First of all, the boundary of the village is decided, after which the Survey of India conducts an aerial survey of the entire area through drones. After this, the Revenue Department team goes to the spot and verifies all the information.
After completion of verification each property is given a unique Property Identification Number (PID). On this basis, a smart property card is prepared in the name of the concerned owner.
Complete record will be available as soon as you scan the QR code
The name of the owner, area of the property, name of the village, PID and other necessary information will be recorded on the smart property card issued by the government. Along with this, there will also be a QR code on the card, once scanned, the digital record of the property, map and other official details can be seen online.
The government believes that this digital system will reduce property related disputes in Lal Dora areas, records will become more transparent and certified documents of their land will be easily available to the people. With this, in future, buying, selling, banking and other government processes will also become simpler than before.
