Anarchist elements have tried to execute a big conspiracy in the religious city Haridwar of Uttarakhand. This conspiracy was to blow up the train. As part of this conspiracy, anarchist elements had also planted a detonator on the Haridwar-Dehradun railway track. It is fortunate that this was reported in time and the security agencies recovered the detonator. This matter is near Motichur railway station of Haridwar. After the incident came to light, along with local security agencies, central agencies have also started investigating the matter.
These agencies have detained a youth resident of Rampur in Uttar Pradesh from near the railway track. It is suspected that he is the one who has planted this detonator. According to police sources, there was panic as soon as the news of detonator was received on the track. In a hurry, the local police and other security agencies came into action. Meanwhile, a young man was seen in a CCTV camera wandering in a suspicious condition on the railway track. In such a situation, the police immediately identified the youth and detained him and started questioning.
The suspected accused is a resident of Rampur.
This youth has been identified as Ashok, resident of Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. According to GRP Haridwar, Haridwar GRP had received information about this detonator from the control room of Moradabad Railway Division. It was told that a detonator has been planted on the railway track near Motichur railway station. On receiving this information, the GRP squad reached the spot, recovered the detonator and destroyed it. According to the GRP, while investigating the matter, the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the railway track was scrutinized.
Police engaged in investigation
During this time, a young man was seen walking in a suspicious condition around the railway track. Along with taking this young man into custody, the police has given information about the case to the central agencies. Considering the seriousness of the matter, central agencies have also started investigation. According to SP GRP Sarita Doval, the matter is being investigated. However, it is not yet clear which organization this incident belongs to.
