Now road accidents will be stopped in Jaipur with the help of an app, a new initiative by the traffic police

Road accidents are increasing every day in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and known worldwide as the Pink City. If we talk about the last four months of this year, more than 200 deaths have been recorded during road accidents in Jaipur district. But now the traffic police of Jaipur is going to take a new initiative to control these accidents.

Jaipur Traffic Police is bringing more than 20 identified black spots of road accidents on the map. This will give people information about accident prone areas on the map. The number of road accidents has increased in the capital Jaipur in the last few years. To control these accidents, Jaipur Traffic Police is soon going to do a new experiment. With the help of which, while driving on the road, you will know which is the black spot or accident prone area on the road.

DCP Traffic, Sagar Rana said that the help of a map app will be taken in this experiment. In this map app, the driver will get an alert on the screen through voice alert that at what distance is the black spot where there is a possibility of an accident. That is, with the help of the app, the black spots of Jaipur will be mapped. For this initiative, Jaipur Police is going to take this step with the mapping company. Rajasthan will probably be the second state to do such an experiment. Earlier, such an experiment has been done in Punjab.

There are 784 black spots in Punjab.

Punjab Police in collaboration with MapMyIndia has mapped all 784 accident black spots across the state on its navigation system Maples app. Citizens using the Maples app will receive voice alerts in Punjabi, alerting commuters about the upcoming black spot, making Punjab the first state to map accident-prone spots as part of road safety. The app alerts commuters via voice that the black spot is 100 metres away.
