Mahindra XEV 9e & Mahindra BE 6e Launched: Mahindra and Mahindra, which dominates the SUV segment, is now going to establish its strong presence in the electric car market. Mahindra has launched its 2 new electric cars on Tuesday. This is a new addition to its portfolio of electric cars and its Born Electric SUVs, which means that these cars have been developed as electric cars right from the concept level.
Mahindra has launched Mahindra XEV 9e and Mahindra BE 6e cars. For this an event was organized in Chennai. With this, it will now have direct competition with Tata Motors in the EV segment, because Tata is currently the biggest player here.
Will go up to 500 km on a single charge
Both the electric cars launched by Mahindra & Mahindra. Their design has been kept quite international. These are in the muscular body. In this, BE 6e has been offered to customers with 59 kWh battery pack and XEV 9e with 79 kWh battery pack. This car will give a range of 400 to 500 km in a single charge. In these cars, charging from 20 to 80 percent will be done in just 20 minutes.
These cars of Mahindra have been developed on INGLO platform. This platform provides extra safety. The length of XEV 9e will be 4.789 meters. Whereas its ground clearance will be 207 mm. It will have 663 liters of boot space and 150 liters of frunk (boot space available at the front). Whereas the length of BE 6e will be 4.371 meters. Its ground clearance will also be 207 mm. It will have boot space of 455 liters and trunk space of 45 litres.
99.5% protection from UV rays
The company has not only given a sporty look to these cars. Rather, keeping people’s health in mind, it has been made capable of protecting against ultra-violet rays (UV Rays) in sunlight. Actually, the company has done UV protection coating on the windshield, roof glass and side glass of these cars. Because of this, this car protects up to 99.5 percent from UV rays.
Due to this, it helps in cooling the car cabin quickly. The company says that due to this feature the cabin of the car cools down 40 percent faster than a normal car.
New logo and modern features
Mahindra has introduced these cars for the new consumer base. That’s why their logo is quite different and it looks like infinity. In these cars you will get options like jewel-like headlamp, glowing logo, end 2 end taillight.
The interior and exterior of these cars have been kept minimalist. It will have a 2-spoke steering wheel. Many other great features will be available inside the cabin of these vehicles like climate control, ventilated front seat, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, powered front seat, wireless mobile charging, ambience lighting, starry light on the roof.
