Now in the moving train, you will be able to withdraw money from ATM, Indian Railways started special facility

Crores of people travel daily from Indian Railways. People shy away from traveling with cash for fear of theft, but many times where UPI does not run, cash is required. In such a situation, if you too often travel by train and do not walk with cash, then this news can prove to be your work. Actually, Indian Railways has taken a very good step for the convenience of passengers. Now if you have the need of cash in the middle train, then you do not need to take tension, you will be able to withdraw money from ATM in the moving train.

Indian Railways has started the facility of withdrawing money from ATMs in a moving train itself. A successful trial has been done for this. This will be the first time in India when a moving train will be able to withdraw money from ATM or ATM has been installed in a train. Currently, this special facility has been started in the AC coach of Panchwati Express, which runs between Manmad and Mumbai in Nashik.

Which bank belongs to ATM?

According to Bhusaval DRM, the initial results of this special facility are good. Now people will be able to withdraw money in the moving train too. The performance of the machine will be constantly monitored because in many places where there is a problem of network, there is some problem in extracting cash. This is the ATM of Bank of Maharashtra. ATM facility has been started in the train under partnership between Bhusaval Division of Railways and Bank of Maharashtra.

Service can also start in other trains

The rake of Panchwati Express has been shared with 12071 Mumbai-Hingoli Jan Shatabdi Express, so this train will now prove useful for long distance passengers going from Nashik and Manmad to Hingoli. Three rakes have been shared for both trains.

According to railway officials, if the on-board ATM service gets good response from the passengers, it can also be implemented in other major trains of the country. Passengers will get direct benefit of this – now they will not need to stay at any station to withdraw cash. They will be able to withdraw money from the ATM in the train during the journey, which will make their journey even more convenient.
