Thug gangs are continuously active in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh and the police is not able to control them. Once again a case of tampering has come to light. Unidentified miscreants stole Rs 25.81 lakh from the car of a property dealer who had gone to the court for registration. When he reached, he saw that the car was locked, but the bag of money was missing. The property dealer immediately informed the police. The police reached the spot and started investigation and checked the CCTV cameras installed nearby. The property dealer has lodged a report against unknown thieves.
Actually, property dealer Rahul Bhatnagar, resident of Kuber Homes Colony of Izzatnagar police station area of Bareilly, had reached the court with a bag full of money in his car. Rahul had gone to get a land registered. There were 25 lakh 81 thousand rupees in the bag. It is alleged that he had parked the car in front of the Rifle Club. When he returned after getting the registration done, the bag full of money was missing from the car but the car was locked.
Property dealer lodged report
The property dealer immediately informed the Kotwali police and the police reached the spot and started investigation. But the culprits could not be traced. At the same time, the police is also watching the CCTV cameras installed around the court and have also got their photos taken. The same property dealer Rahul has lodged a report against unknown miscreants.
Police is examining CCTV footage
The police have started scanning the CCTV footage installed around the rifle club. Two people are seen hovering near the car. Police have also asked details from Rahul in this case as to who all the people were with him. Who had to get the registration done? Where did he get Rs 25 lakh from? If the car was locked then how did the money go out? Investigation is being done on all these points. While giving information regarding the entire matter, Kotwali in-charge Amit Pandey said that on the basis of the complaint of the property dealer, a report has been registered and the entire matter is being investigated.
