Alia Bhatt and Raha are one of the cutest duos in B-town. People assume that celebrities’, especially actors’, kids will also pursue acting just like their parents.

Still, it does not happen all the time, and Alia also wants her daughter to pursue a different profession. In a new interview, Alia has said she would love for her daughter  to take an interest in sports as she grows up, adding that she’d be delighted if she chose to become an athlete. She also shared that even at just three, Raha displays boundless energy and an active, spirited nature.

In a recent interview with Femina,  opened up about her daughter Raha’s energetic and spirited nature. “I wish for her to actually be an athlete. She’s so competitive and she’s so athletic. She’s only three, but she really jumps around like a bee in a bonnet,” she said. Apart from embracing motherhood, Alia also spoke about the people who inspired her journey, crediting her mother Soni Razdan as her greatest influence. She recalled how she managed the responsibilities of raising children alongside her unwavering love for acting on stage and TV.

She added that starting with her family, her mother is the strongest, most impactful influence growing up and watching her navigate through raising her and her sister, Shaheen, and still keeping the fire of wanting to be an actor alive in herself, whether she did it through theatre or through television.

Meanwhile, Alia tied the knot with actor Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, 2022, in an intimate wedding ceremony at their Mumbai residence. The couple welcomed their daughter Raha on November 6, 2026.

Speaking about her professional front, Alia is now gearing up for both Alpha and Love & War. Alpha, under Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, also stars Sharvari and Bobby Deol. The film marks the first female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe. Directed by Shiv Rawail, it is reported that the story centers on two super-agents, played by Alia and Sharvari, who reach their highest limits on a very important international mission and transform from rookies into elite warriors.

Meanwhile,   directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. As per reports, the plot will focus on a dramatic love triangle between two strong-willed army officers (Kapoor and Kaushal) and a central female character (Bhatt) against the backdrop of war. It will hit cinemas on January 21, 2027.
