Prayagraj. At the North Tech Symposium-2026, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the defense exhibition and appreciated the country’s rapidly growing indigenous defense capabilities. In this three-day long event, new technologies and equipment developed according to the needs of modern warfare were displayed on a large scale. The participation of army, industry and startups was clearly visible in this.
Defense Exhibition India: Inspection of modern military equipment
During the exhibition, the Chief Minister had a close look at bulletproof jackets, tactical gear, state-of-the-art helmets and military equipment designed for multi-terrain operations. He took information from experts about the technical features of these devices and discussed their usefulness. Innovations like ‘head-to-boot’ protection system, special clothing to be worn in extreme temperatures and modular protection system were special highlights.
AI Drone Technology: Preparing for future war
Drones, smart surveillance systems, modern communication tools and AI based solutions were also showcased at the symposium.
