Hindu organizations mostly complain about running non-veg hotels near temples. Similarly, the officials and employees of Hindu Samaj Party of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh had given a written complaint to the SSP and the District Officer two days ago to remove the non-veg hotel from near the temple.
Hindu Samaj Party President Kiran Kamlesh Tiwari told that a non-veg hotel in Moradabad is 40 meters away from the temple. In such a situation, the officers and officials of Hindu Samaj Party protested against it, but even after giving complaint to the officials, no action was taken. In view of this, today the step was taken to read Hanuman Chalisa sitting in front of the hotel, but the regional police took the officials of Hindu Samaj Party into custody.
Non-veg hotel should be at a distance of 100 meters from religious place.
Food Safety Officer Rajvansh Srivastava, Moradabad, while talking to the media, said that the distance from any non-veg hotel to a temple or religious place should be about 100 meters. Regarding the temple and hotel issue, SP City Ranvijay Singh said that the complaint about the temple and a non-veg hotel was made by a Hindu Samaj Party official. Continuous investigation is going on on this complaint, but today some officials of Hindu Samaj Party have been detained and the matter is being investigated.
