Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the 11th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog held in New Delhi on 11 June. In this important meeting organized under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there was a wide discussion about the overall development of the country and the goal of ‘Developed India @2047’.
After the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that meaningful discussions were held on various aspects of better coordination, partnership and development between the Center and the states. He said that Madhya Pradesh is also continuously trying to contribute actively in building a developed India.
Madhya Pradesh Development: The state is moving ahead with good governance and public welfare.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is working by giving priority to good governance, innovation, inclusive development and public welfare. Many important schemes are being effectively implemented for the development of various sections of the state. He said that continuous work is being done towards providing better opportunities to the youth, empowerment of women and daughters, welfare of farmers and strengthening health facilities. The quality of health services is also being improved through the establishment of new medical colleges.
Naxal Free MP: Success in ending Naxalism ahead of schedule
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has succeeded in ending Naxalism even before the deadline set by the Central Government. Now plans are being made to give more speed to the development works in the areas which were earlier Naxal affected. He said that basic facilities, employment and education opportunities will be expanded in such areas, so that the people there can be connected to the mainstream of development.
Emphasis on Ayushman Yojana, Arogya Mandir and River Linking Projects
The Chief Minister said that health temples are being successfully operated in the state. Along with this, Madhya Pradesh is also among the leading states in effective implementation of Ayushman Bharat Scheme. He said that the state government is making preparations to take forward river interlinking projects. Through these projects, a target has been set to make better use of water resources and strengthen irrigation facilities.
Youth are getting new opportunities from PM Shri Colleges and Skill Development
Dr. Yadav said that through PM Shri Mahavidyalayas, quality education is being provided to the youth in various subjects and faculties. At the same time, skill development programs are also being taken forward at a fast pace so that the youth can get better opportunities for employment and self-employment. He said that the state government is also making continuous efforts to promote industrialization.
PM Mitra Park Dhar: Industrial development will start in record time
The Chief Minister said that the country’s first PM Mitra Park has been established in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. Here work is going on at a rapid pace by various industrial units to start work in record time. He also informed that action has been taken towards disposal of waste of Union Carbide Factory located in Bhopal and special attention is being given to new development works related to public interest in the state.
Governance Council Discussion: Brainstorming on employment, health and equality
Topics like development of basic human capital, future ready skills, productive employment, entrepreneurship, decentralized development, health, nutrition and social welfare were discussed in detail in the Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog. The meeting also discussed measures to promote entrepreneurship across the country, strengthen skill development and create new sustainable employment opportunities.
