She was seen draped in a bespoke fuchsia pink satin saree, a creation by Malhotra himself, which seamlessly blended traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary festive glamour.
The saree, a visual treat, featured delicate gold lacework along its borders, adding a regal touch. What truly made the ensemble sparkle were the multi-coloured Swarovski embellishments, creating a dazzling interplay of light and colour. The blouse, designed with an intricately jewelled back, further showcased the meticulous detailing, with a constellation of Swarovski crystals extending the craftsmanship beyond the conventional.
Completing her festive look, Nita Ambani carried a handcrafted Pichwai-inspired handbag from her personal collection. This accessory was a masterpiece in itself, featuring handmade enamelled lotus motifs, sparkling diamond embellishments, and an opulent interior lined with pearls and zari. This bag beautifully brought together traditional Indian artistry, fine art, and high jewellery, perfectly complementing the saree’s gold and crystal accents.
The Diwali bash, held at Manish Malhotra’s Mumbai residence on November 5, was a grand affair, doubling as a festive runway for Bollywood’s elite. Nita Ambani attended alongside her sister, Mamta Dalal, who also chose a coordinating pink outfit. The event saw the presence of numerous celebrities, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, making it a truly memorable evening.
