Chennai: Malayalam cinema fans are buzzing with anticipation as the makers of Joju George’s upcoming film ‘Paripadi’ have unveiled actor Ajayan Adat’s character.
Adat, a familiar face in the industry, will portray ‘Suku’ in the film, a revelation that has delighted cinephiles. Interestingly, Adat is also contributing as the film’s sound designer, showcasing his multi-faceted talent.
The announcement, made via the film’s official Instagram handle, confirmed the character’s name and teased a December 2026 release. Joju George, known for his impactful performances, is not only starring but also writing and directing ‘Paripadi’. This project follows the success of his directorial debut, ‘Pani’, which garnered critical acclaim across Kerala and Tamil Nadu, significantly raising expectations for his new venture.
‘Paripadi’ boasts a strong technical crew, featuring music by the acclaimed Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Rajeev Ravi, and editing by Manu Antony. National Award-winning stunt choreographers Anbariv are handling the action sequences, while Venu Kunnappilly is producing under the banner of Kavya Film Company. The film’s production design is by Sabu Mohan, with N G Roshan on make-up and Melwy J designing costumes. The combination of Joju George’s creative vision and a stellar team has set a high bar for this upcoming Malayalam release.
