Nirjala Ekadashi Bhog: Today the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month is being observed. In religious scriptures, it is considered the biggest and most virtuous Ekadashi. This fast is considered to be the most difficult, because the devotees of Lord Vishnu keep this fast Nirjala i.e. without consuming water and worship Shri Hari. Those who do not observe Ekadashi fast throughout the year, they must observe this fast. This fast is very beneficial.
There is a religious belief that Nirjala Ekadashi gives the virtue of fasting Ekadashi throughout the year. Also, by observing this fast, the soul attains salvation after death and gets a place in Vaikuntha Dham. Today, while worshiping Lord Vishnu, definitely offer his favorite things to him. By doing this one receives special blessings from God and the house remains filled with wealth and grains.
Offer these things to Lord Vishnu on Nirjala Ekadashi
banana: On the day of Nirjala Ekadashi i.e. today, definitely offer banana to Lord Vishnu. Banana is very dear to Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu also resides in this tree. Also, it is yellow in color and it is the favorite color of Lord Vishnu. Religious belief is that Lord Vishnu becomes extremely happy when ripe yellow colored bananas are offered as bhog.
basil: Mother Lakshmi is believed to reside in the Tulsi plant. Tulsi is very dear to Lord Vishnu. This is the reason why Tulsi is also called Haripriya. It is believed that Lord Vishnu does not accept food without Tulsi, hence while worshiping Vishnu today, add some Tulsi leaves to the food.
Yellow Sweets: Since yellow color is very dear to Lord Vishnu, hence offer yellow colored sweets to him today. For this, sweets made of saffron peda, yellow colored rasgullas and jaggery can be taken. It is believed that offering yellow sweets to God reduces life’s problems. Get benefits in the workplace.
Panjiri: Offering of Panjiri is also very dear to Lord Vishnu. Make sure to offer these offerings to God during worship today. By offering Panjiri, one gets the blessings of Lord Vishnu as well as Goddess Lakshmi. By offering this offering the inauspicious effects of the planets are also removed.
