News9 Global Summit: India will be the ‘back bone’ providing work force to the entire world, said Baba Kalyani.

News9 Global Summit Germany Edition:Today India has become the 5th largest economy in the world and in a few years it will be the 3rd largest economy in the world. While India’s demand has increased at the global level, India itself is full of confidence at this time. Baba Kalyani, head of Bharaj Forge Kalyani Group said these things. He was speaking about this global vision at the News9 Global Summit of the country’s number-1 news network TV9 being held in Germany.

Baba Kalyani said that the world is going through many big transitions at this time. Every economy and industry of the world will have to accept these changes. This includes artificial intelligence, energy transition, food and genetic transition and human resource transition.

changes will have to be accepted

Baba Kalyani said that on one hand the world will have to accept changes like Artificial Intelligence, which will change many aspects of life. At the same time, it has become necessary for the world to transition from fossil fuel to renewable energy. Apart from this, food and genetic transition is going to change our eating habits and work-life balance in the coming days.

India has the answer to human resource transition

Regarding the challenge of human resource transition facing the world, Baba Kalyani said that India will act as the ‘back bone’ for the world in this matter. He said that most of the developed economies of the world are currently facing shortage of work force. He himself is facing this problem for his business in Germany and Sweden. In such a situation, India has the capacity to provide work force to the world for the next 30 years.

Baba Kalyani said that the average age of the Indian population is going to remain between 29 to 35 years for the next 30 years. All the countries of the world like Germany, Japan, China, America and Australia are struggling with the problem of low fertility rate. In all these countries its rate is less than 2 percent, whereas India still maintains a fertility rate of 2 percent. In such a situation, India will work as a ‘back bone’ in providing work force to the world.

He said that the good thing in this is that the Indian work force is skilled or improving its skills. In such a situation, India has a ready work force for everything from AI to energy transition.
