During this, the PM said that the Mumbai-Bangalore National Highway is being expanded. Vande Bharat train will start running from Kolhapur here soon.
Prime Minister Modi said that he has approved Vaibhavwadi from Kolhapur. Through this, it will be easier for passengers going from Kolhapur to Konkan. At the same time, the devotees coming to visit Ambabai will also get the benefit of this train. Apart from this, increasing connectivity will also help in promoting industry and development in Kolhapur. According to the PM, there is a plan to run Vande Bharat train in many cities.
What did the PM say?
PM Modi said that ‘the work of expansion of Mumbai-Bengaluru National Highway is going on at a fast pace. Shaktipeeth Expressway will provide modern connectivity to large parts of the state. According to the PM, new trains are being started from Kolhapur. In this sequence, Vande Bharat will soon run from Kolhapur, which will make it easier for many passengers to come here. Also said that Kolhapur-Vaibhavwadi has also been approved by him, which will help in connecting Kolhapur with Konkan by rail.
Vande Bharat train is running in all the states of the country. In such a situation, the Central Government is now preparing to start Vande Bharat Express on more routes. A train will also run between Secunderabad and Pune. Which will be given to South Central Railway. At present four Vande Bharat trains are running here.
