oyota is gearing up to launch the Innova Hycross facelift soon. We already know the Glanza facelift is coming on 14th October. Given how many camouflaged Innova prototypes have been spotted, we think Toyota could end the year with the Innova facelift launch. So, here’s what’s new.
New Innova Hycross Design Changes
The new Innova Hycross will get revised styling. Based on the prototype sightings and a design patent leak, it looks like the Innova will also get the Hilux treatment. By this, we mean it could feature a similar fascia as the Hilux, with the honeycomb pattern visible in the new front grille and bumper. As with most facelifts, expect updated lights and alloy wheels. We do not expect any radical changes to the car’s overall shape.
Interior and Feature Updates
Toyota has been very guarded about any details regarding the Innova Hycross facelift. However, based on the spy shots, the interior seems to be the same as the outgoing model. If anything changes, we think the infotainment unit could be updated. Currently, the Innova Hycross comes with 8-inch and 10.1-inch screen options; these could be replaced with the new 12.3-inch unit from the new Hilux. The driver’s display could also be upgraded to the same size. To up the premium quotient, features like rear-ventilated seats, upgraded ADAS, a head-up display, and a powered co-driver’s seat, to name a few, could be added.
New Innova Hycross Engine Options
Since there are no apparent flaws in the current Innova Hycross’ engine and gearbox options, expect them to remain unchanged. The facelift could also continue with a 2.0-litre NA petrol engine (168 bhp & 204 Nm of torque) and a 2.0-litre petrol strong hybrid engine (186 bhp & 206 Nm of torque). The NA motor is available only with a CVT automatic gearbox as standard, and the hybrid engine gets an e-CVT gearbox (though both are CVTs, they are not the same).
Expected Launch and Price
were of a late 2026 or early 2027 launch. However, we now think the Innova facelift could arrive before the end of 2026. Currently, the Innova Hycross is priced between Rs. 23.62 lakh and Rs. 40.13 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Expect the Hycross facelift prices to be slightly higher, with possibly a revised variant lineup.
