Toyota is one of India’s favourite brands thanks to its reliable and dependable cars, and all of its 7-seaters have been great hits – the Qualis, the Innova and the Fortuner! And now, there is another 7-seater that will soon join Toyota’s lineup, and here’s everything you need to know about it!
Maruti YMC-Based Toyota 7-Seater – Upcoming Toyota 7-Seater

This Toyota 7-seater will be the sister car of the upcoming Maruti YMC, an electric 7-seater. Much like the Toyota eBella shares every component with the Maruti e Vitara, the upcoming Toyota 7-seater will share most of its components with the YMC. The Maruti YMC has been spotted a few times, but not much has been revealed. What we know is that it will be a premium 7-seater which will go up against the likes of the Kia Carens Clavis EV. Similarly, the Toyota alternative will borrow all of its features from the eBella. These include a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, a powered driver seat, a 360-degree camera and much more. Being a 7-seater, it could have second-row captain seats with ventilation in the 6-seater version, allowing for improved comfort.
Maruti YMC-Based Toyota 7-Seater – What Else?

As we know that the Toyota 7-seater will be underpinned by the e-heartect platform, it is safe to say that it will get the same 2 battery pack options: a 49kWh battery pack and a 61kWh battery pack. The smaller battery pack could offer a claimed range of 440km while the larger battery pack could offer a claimed range of 543km. We could expect Toyota to offer AWD with this 7-seater as well. This 7-seater could carry a price tag ranging from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
