New Gen Pulsar 125 TFT Variant Launch Soon

Multiple updates are expected with the new Pulsar 125 including a smoother engine with improved fuel efficiency

Ahead of the festive season, Bajaj will be introducing the new Classic Pulsar 125, which has been spotted on road tests. Latest spy shots reveal the new Pulsar 125 with a TFT screen. This could be the top variant of the new Pulsar 125 range.

New 2026 Pulsar 125 – What’s new?

New-gen Pulsar 125 has received comprehensive updates across its design, features and performance. At the front, the 2026 model gets a new LED headlight and a slightly revised fender. The front number plate has been moved up and is now positioned above the headlamp. This provides a clear view, as compared to the current model whose number plate seems slightly obscured by the headlamp.

While the windscreen design seems largely the same as earlier, the lower edges appear to be more rounded for a seamless aesthetic. Moving to the side, one can notice a refreshed design for the fuel tank and tank extensions. The fuel tank seems like it is similar to current Classic Pulsars, but features much sharper tank shrouds for a muscular stance.

Another key update is a toe-only gear shifter replacing the existing heel and toe gear shifter. The chain cover appears to be made from plastic, aimed at helping reduce the bike’s weight. On the right side, the new model gets an updated dual-tone exhaust. Other highlights include more prominent split grab rails. Taillight has been refreshed for a more contemporary aesthetic.

In other changes, the new Pulsar 125 gets redesigned footpegs for the pillion and a new foot brake pedal. While multiple colour options could be retained, the new Pulsar 125 can be seen with new sportier graphics. Features that have been carried over include the 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic front forks and LED indicators.

New TFT screen, updated engine

This test mule can be seen with a TFT instrument screen, which is similar to that of the recently launched Pulsar N160 SS top variant. It is expected to come with Bluetooth support and offer functions like calls, SMS and turn-by-turn navigation. However, more premium functions such as Google Maps mirroring and Wi-Fi connectivity offered with the N160 SS may not be available with the new Pulsar 125.

2026 Pulsar 125 can also be seen with a Type-C USB charging port and hazard lights. Coming to the bike’s performance, the new Pulsar 125 could get an updated engine. It could be tuned for smoother operation and higher mileage. Another major hardware upgrade is a monoshock rear suspension replacing the existing dual rear shock absorbers. This also complements the bike’s sporty presence.

With multiple updates, the new 2026 Pulsar 125 could be offered at a slightly higher price, especially the top variant. The current Pulsar 125 is available at a starting price of Rs 90,494. Bajaj Pulsar 125 competes with rivals like ,Honda SP125 and Hero Xtreme 125R.
