Gorakhpur News: The construction of Padleganj-Transportnagar sixlane flyover and Deoria Bypass fourlane flyover has been completed in Gorakhpur. Preparations are underway for inauguration before July 15.

Gorakhpur Six Lane Flyover Opening: There is news of relief for the people who have been suffering from traffic jam for a long time in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The construction work of Padleganj-Transportnagar sixlane flyover and Deoria Bypass fourlane flyover, built with the aim of improving the traffic system of the city, has been completed. Now the administration has started preparations for the inauguration of these projects. It is expected that both the flyovers will be opened to the general public before July 15, due to which a major change can be seen in the traffic system of the city.

Traffic pressure will reduce on busy routes of the city

Areas like Transport Nagar, Maheva, Rustampur, Canal Road and Deoria Bypass of Gorakhpur have been affected by the problem of heavy traffic and jam for a long time. Especially during peak hours, drivers had to get stuck in traffic jams for hours. The objective of this project, started on the initiative of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is to reduce the traffic pressure on these major routes and to make people’s travel faster and easier. The movement of local traffic and long distance vehicles is expected to become more orderly after the flyover becomes operational.

Final preparations intensified before inauguration

After the completion of the construction work, now the work of removing shuttering and other construction material from below the flyover is being done rapidly. According to Setu Nigam officials, the project is completely ready and its information has been sent to higher officials. If the final formalities are completed on time, these flyovers can be inaugurated before July 15. After this, traffic on these routes will become completely normal and people are expected to get relief from long jams.

Roads are also being developed along with flyovers.

Along with the flyover project, the roads below are also being improved. The Public Works Department (PWD) has been entrusted with the responsibility of construction and improvement of these roads. The department has completed the road construction work from Padleganj to State Bank of India. The construction of the remaining portion will be completed as soon as traffic resumes on the flyover. Officials believe that with the simultaneous commissioning of both the road and the flyover, the traffic system of Gorakhpur will become more convenient and the development of the city will also get a new impetus.
