Maruti Invicto Facelift
The Invicto is Maruti’s flagship 7-seater and shares most components with the popular Toyota Innova Hycross. As the Innova is currently undergoing testing for its upcoming facelift, we believe that the Invicto will soon get an update as well. It has been 3 years since the Invicto was first introduced in India, and an update with new features and design changes could help the premium MPV in terms of sales. That said, let’s take a look at the expected changes to the Invicto facelift.
What To Expect?
From a set of recent spy shots, it is clear that the Innova Hycross will get a new and upgraded infotainment screen – likely a 12.3-inch touchscreen, possibly borrowed from the new Hilux. Moreover, we can expect to see a larger digital instrument cluster. These features will likely be offered in the Invicto facelift as well. Maruti could offer a new headlight and taillight design along with a revised front grille. Other expected features include Ottoman seats, ventilated rear seats, level 2 ADAS, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, powered seat recline for rear seats, and a few more.
The addition of these features will ensure a more complete package in terms of comfort and convenience. Unlike the Toyota Innova Hycross, the Invicto is only offered with a strong hybrid powertrain, which makes the base-spec Invicto more expensive than the Innova Hycross. With this update, we expect Maruti to borrow the 2.0-litre NA petrol engine (173bhp & 209Nm) from the Innova Hycross, allowing for aggressive pricing of the Maruti 7-seater.
Maruti Invicto Facelift – What Else?
As of now, Maruti has not revealed any details regarding the Invicto facelift. However, we expect Maruti to launch this by the second half of 2027. If the brand is able to offer the petrol-only powertrain in the Invicto, we can expect to see some competitive pricing. The Invicto facelift could carry a price tag ranging from Rs 22 lakh to Rs 35 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
