Historic nuclear deal between India and Australia
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced that India and Australia have sealed a landmark agreement in the field of nuclear cooperation, adding a strategic nuclear dimension to their fast-growing partnership. Delivering a joint press statement with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in Melbourne, PM Modi detailed a comprehensive vision for future cooperation, including clean energy security, high-tech military manufacturing and critical supply chains.
