New BMW M 1000 RR, more powerful for next WSBK season

BMW unveiled its high-performance 2025 sports models on Wednesday, including the updated M 1000 RR, set to compete in the World Superbike Championship.

Following a strong season with notable success from Toprak Razgatlioglu, the bike now features a more powerful inline-four engine (218 hp, an increase of 6 hp).

Aerodynamics have also been enhanced, especially with a new front fairing featuring M Winglets 3.0, which provides significantly more downforce. The Flex Frame chassis has been improved as well, now with a new engine mounting on the left side.

The Dynamic Traction Control has an updated Slide Control function, split into Slip Control and Slide Control. There’s also a new Slide Assist function in the BMW Race ABS Pro braking system.

The base model of the new BMW M 1000 RR will feature Lightwhite as the dominant color, while the M 1000 RR M Competition will showcase Blackstorm metallic. In both cases, the base colors are paired with graphics in M colors.
