People not only liked the story of the film ‘Avatar’, but people also liked the songs of the film very much. However, ‘Chalo Bulawa Aaya Hai, Mata Ne Bulawa Hai’ got the most love.
The shooting was full of difficulties
Shabana Azmi talked to Radio Nasha about the shooting of this song, she told that the shooting of this song was full of difficulties. When the song was being filmed, the path to Vaishno Devi was full of difficulties, at that time helicopters were not used to reach the temple, the actress told that Rajesh Khanna used to go to the temple on foot. Along with this, he also told that there was no toilet on the way to the temple.
The entire cast slept on the cold floor
Shabana said, “Can you imagine a superstar like Rajesh Khanna standing in a queue with a box of Dalda in his hand? It was very cold at that time. The entire team of the film slept on the cold floor in Dharamshala, on which 12 blankets were spread along with the mattress, and six blankets were used as cover, but even this made all of us feel cold. Even in such difficult times, Rajesh Khanna could not say that brother, I am a superstar, we worked with full enthusiasm.”
‘Avatar’ did the right career
However, later the hard work of the entire cast paid off and the film proved to be a superhit. Before this film, during the year 1970, Rajesh Khanna’s career graph was continuously going down, but this film proved helpful in bringing his career up, after this he got films like ‘Sautan’ and ‘Agar Tum Na Hote’.
