A strange incident has happened in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Here the miscreants in the car overtook and stopped a pickup carrying Gutkha. After this, the miscreants beat up the cleaner and looted Gutkha worth Rs 7 lakh which was loaded in the pickup. This incident took place in Badi Pal Mod of Sajeti area of Ghatampur police station area of Kanpur. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and registered a case against unknown miscreants under relevant sections.
Now the police have started investigating the case from every possible angle. According to the police, the police is trying to track them on the basis of the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the incident site. According to the police, there was a news of robbery of a pickup laden with SNK Pan Masala in Sajeti. The police reached this information and investigated the matter. It was revealed that car-borne miscreants had committed a robbery worth Rs 7 lakh.
The driver took the conductor 15 km away and threw him.
The pickup driver told during police interrogation that the miscreants put him and the cleaner in their car and beat them for about 3 hours. After this, the miscreants threw them on the roadside near Kanthipur village, 15 kilometers away from the incident site and fled away. After this the driver informed the pickup owner. Told that after some time the miscreants had emptied the pickup and left it near a petrol pump located in Paras.
The company director filed a case
On receiving the information, Pawan Gupta, director of SNK company, which manufactures Gutkha, reached Sajeti police station and filed a case. He told that this consignment of pan masala was being sent from the company to the agency located in Hamirpur. According to ACP Ranjit Kumar Singh of Ghatampur police station, the police have got some clues from the CCTV footage. Soon the miscreants will be identified and arrested.
