Prime Minister Modi took NEET matter into his own hands

  • Digvijay Singh told ANI, “The truth is that on this issue, no matter which party the members belong to, everyone is unanimous in their stand, whether it is about NEET or CBSE. We are not discussing it on party lines. We are focusing on how we can improve this entire system.”
He further said, “Due to the incompetence of Dharmendra Pradhan, the Prime Minister himself has had to take charge of this matter. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should either tender his resignation or be dismissed… We are confident that since the Prime Minister himself has taken charge of this matter, it will be brought to a successful conclusion by all means.”
  • Following reports in a section of the media about the panel meeting, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said the Standing Committee on Education “has not given any clean chit to the Prime Minister or his ‘system’. We have been informed by the Solicitor General that the Prime Minister is personally monitoring the re-examination of NEET. For the sake of our students, we have to believe that the exam will be conducted successfully,” Digvijay Singh said.
He further said, “It is impossible for any sane person to have any faith in the Prime Minister and his ‘system’. This same ‘system’ has bungled the investigation into the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak. This ‘system’ continues to deny that the NEET-UG 2024 paper was leaked, while the truth is in front of everyone.
