Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took a big meeting on Tuesday. This meeting was regarding preparations for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 to be held on June 21. In this meeting held in the ministry, the CM instructed the officials to make concrete arrangements for the examination. CM Yadav clearly said that there should be no mistake at any level in the examination process. He instructed the officials to conduct the examination with complete transparency, better management and strict rules. Let us tell you that this examination will be held at 283 centers in 30 districts of Madhya Pradesh.

NEET exam center will have hi-tech security

The Chief Minister directed the Higher Education Department, which is coordinating the examination, that biometric machines, CCTV cameras and signal jammers should be installed at all the examination centers by June 19. Also, everything should be checked by doing a trial run on June 20.

President is coming on the day of NEET exam

President Draupadi Murmu is also visiting Jabalpur on the day of examination i.e. 21st June. In view of this, the CM asked the administration and police officers to maintain proper traffic management, so that the candidates do not face any problem in reaching the centre. This day is also International Yoga Day, for which instructions have been given to make special arrangements.

Candidates will be taken to the center by government vehicles.

  • The Chief Minister also said that if any candidate faces any problem in commuting, then the district administration and police officers should help him. If necessary, they should also be taken to the center by government vehicles.
  • The CM directed Collectors, Superintendents of Police and other officials of all the 30 districts having NEET-UG 2026 examination centers that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that is being implemented for this examination should become a model for all future examinations to be held in the state. Officials of these districts joined the meeting through video conferencing and informed the Chief Minister about the preparations so far.

  • Anupam Rajan, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, said that coordination committees and control rooms have already been formed at the district level. Nodal officers have been appointed for a group of three to four examination centres, while Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) level police officers will be deployed at each centre.
  • The districts with the highest number of examination centers include Indore (57), Bhopal (32), Gwalior (24), Jabalpur (24), Rewa (12), Barwani (11), Khargone (9), Ratlam (9) and Ujjain (8).
