Neem Juice Recipe: Neem which is very beneficial for health. It is used to prepare a variety of dishes like curries, chutneys, juices etc. but it is also used to make syrups, which will help you in the scorching summer season.
Neem flowers are an excellent natural antiseptic that can help clean your system in one of the healthiest ways. These flowers are white-yellow in color and are completely safe for consumption. They are available dried and in powdered form in the off season, but are better consumed fresh. Neem flowers are easily available in the months of April-May-June and should be included in your diet to get many health benefits.
How is Neem syrup made?
Material-
2 tbsp neem flowers, 2 tbsp jaggery powder, 2 cups water, 2 pinches of black pepper powder, 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger, salt as per taste and some chopped pieces of raw mango.
Method
Take two glasses of cold water in a jug.
– Add jaggery powder, mix well and make jaggery water.
– Now add jaggery water in two glasses. Add 1 teaspoon neem flowers to each glass.
Add salt to taste and a pinch of black pepper powder in each glass.
Now add about one teaspoon ginger in each glass.
Then add chopped raw mango pieces, about 1 tablespoon, to each glass.
Stir to mix everything and let it sit for about a minute.
We are not unaware of the benefits of Neem, but in terms of health, Neem flowers are also not behind. It is an excellent remedy for most of your stomach problems like bloating, gas, constipation, indigestion and stomach ache. These flowers help reduce pitta, control phlegm and treat intestinal worms.
