In Raipur, Governor Ramen Deka, while honoring the meritorious students, gave the message of maintaining AI, Google Effect, digital addiction and original thinking.
Raipur. Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Ramen Deka said that as soon as he reaches among the children, he remembers his childhood. He said that in his time, despite limited resources, students progressed on the basis of hard work and dedication. Today, in the era of Internet and Artificial Intelligence (AI), facilities are more than ever, but students should never give up their original thinking, study habit and ability to learn independently.
Governor Shri Deka participated as the chief guest in the National Excellence Award Ceremony and Medal and Fund Distribution-2026 of PSY Education and Research Federation organized at Vimtara Auditorium, Raipur. During this, meritorious students and excellent district education officers from various districts of the state were honored.
AI and Google are useful, but not a substitute for human intelligence: Governor Ramon Deka
The Governor said that at present Google and AI are useful tools for education and information, but they cannot be considered a substitute for human intelligence. He said that there should not be “Google Effect” in life. A person’s ability to think, understand and take right decisions is his biggest strength. He urged students to use technology to learn, but not to let their independent thinking and study habits weaken.
Digital addiction is no less than a drug, limit use of mobile.
Governor Shri Deka advised the students to stay away from any kind of addiction. He said that digital addiction is also as harmful as other drugs. Use of mobile phone should be limited only to studies and essential works, so that time and energy can be utilized properly.
National Education Policy 2020 is opening up new opportunities in every field.
The Governor asked the parents to recognize the interest and talent of their children and inspire them to move in the same direction. He said that the aim of every student should not be only IIT or medical. He said that through the National Education Policy-2020, many new courses and options have been made available to the students, through which they can make careers in different fields as per their ability. Today there are new possibilities of innovation and employment in every field.
Dream big, hard work and determination are the real keys to success.
Inspiring the students to dream big, the Governor said that it is not important what background a person comes from. His hard work, dedication and strong determination create his future. He said that being successful alone is not the aim of life. Real happiness comes to a person who remains satisfied and lives a harmonious life with family, neighborhood and society.
Every child has his own unique talent, parents should avoid comparison
The Governor said that behind the achievement of every student honored at the ceremony is the sacrifice of his parents and the guidance of his teachers. He appealed to the parents not to compare their children with other children. Every child is unique in his own way. Instead of pushing him into blind competition, he should be given the opportunity to move forward according to his interest and ability. Only when a student works in the field of his choice, his real talent comes out.
Youth will play an important role in building self-reliant India and developed Chhattisgarh.
Wishing a bright future to all the students, the Governor expressed confidence that in future they will contribute significantly in building a self-reliant India and developed Chhattisgarh.
MLAs also laid emphasis on education, discipline and target setting
Special guest at the function and MLA and former Assembly Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik said that children are the future of the country. Every student should have a clear goal in life and the most effective medium to reach that goal is education. MLA Purandar Mishra gave the message to the students about discipline, continuous hard work and continuous learning for success.

At the beginning of the program, Director of PSY Educational and Research Association, Dr. S.K. Mishra threw light on the objective of the event.
