This case pertains to Vishambharpur Gram Panchayat of Karimuddinpur police station area of Ghazipur. Chanchal Kumar Gaur, a resident of here, and Anju (name changed), a resident of Bharauli Kala, got married in a marriage hall located in Lathudih. It is being told that there was a love affair between the two for many years and they were living together for a long time. Not only this, both of them also have a child. Now, to give social recognition to this relationship, marriages were arranged with the consent of the families.

The mandap was decorated for the wedding ceremony, where both of them took seven rounds amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras. After this, Sindoor Daan and other traditional rituals were also completed. The people present on the spot blessed the newlywed couple and wished for their bright future. According to the groom’s father Harishankar Gaur, the two had a long-standing love affair. Both of them had left the house some time ago and they also have a child. The family decided to organize a marriage to accept the relationship socially. He also told that the girl’s family members have now accepted this relationship and keep coming to meet their daughter from time to time. According to the information, after marriage, the couple is living in a rented house away from their family.
