A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Andhra Pradesh.A mother in Guntur district of the state killed her own son for half an acre of land. The accused has been identified as Basit, son of Munnibi and her second husband. The police have registered a case of murder and arrested ten people. Police said that there was a dispute going on between the two regarding land for the last six months and it escalated to such an extent that the woman killed her own son.
According to the police, Munnibi was married to Hussain of Hasnabad in Krosuru mandal twenty years ago. Both of them had a son, Mehboob Basha. However, just two years after the birth of Mehboob Basha, differences started between Munnibi and Hussain and within a few days both of them got divorced. After Hussain’s divorce, Munnibi married Karimulla of Thammavara and went away with her son Mehboob Basha. Karimullah and Munnabi have a son, Basit. Karimullah also died after both of them had children. In such a situation, Munnibi came to Hasnabad with her two children.
What was the reason?
Police said that Mehboob Basha, the child of the first husband, inherited all the property of her father. Whereas the second husband’s son Basit got less property. Because of this, there was a dispute going on between son Mehboob Basha and Munnibi regarding the property received from her first husband. The dispute between the two increased so much that Mehboob Basha married a girl from the village. The result was that Munnibi and Basit felt that they would not get the property.
Basha died in the hospital
To get the property, mother and son came up with a plan to get rid of Mehboob Basha. In such a situation, a week ago mother Munnibi, younger brother Basit and ten other people had gone to Mehboob Basha’s house to assault him. First his mother poured chilli powder in Basha’s eyes, after which everyone together attacked Mehboob, due to which he was seriously injured. Due to serious injuries, Basha was admitted to the hospital, where Basha died during treatment. The real matter came to light during police investigation, after which a case was immediately registered and people were arrested.
