When will Muhurta trading happen?
NSE and BSE have issued circular regarding Muhurta trading. According to the circular, this time Muhurta trading in the stock market will be on 1st November. However, Diwali will be celebrated on Thursday 31st October. Due to Diwali, the stock markets will remain closed for normal trading, but a one-hour special trading session will be held in the evening. On this day, normal trading session will run from 6 pm to 7 pm, while trade modification time will be till 7:10 pm.
What is the reason?
Actually, this time there is a lot of confusion regarding Diwali. But this time the festival of Diwali is being celebrated in the country on 31st October. At the same time, Diwali holiday in the stock market is on 1st November this time and there is Muhurta trading in the evening on the same day. However, according to NSE, there may be change in holidays due to festivals and other reasons.
BSE has also informed on its website that special Muhurat trading will be organized on 1st November. However, official information regarding the timing has not been given yet.
