A student of MSc Biotech of Purvanchal University in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, committed suicide last night. After talking to the fiance, the student took this step. However, on being taken to the district hospital, the doctor’s team declared him dead. The police have taken the body and sent it for postmortem. The police has started investigating the entire case.
The case is of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University of Saraikhwaja police station area. Shivangi Mishra, a resident of Kotwalpur village of Jalalpur police station area, was a MSc second year student in the Biotech Department. She was studying in Laxmibai Girls Hostel. Late in the night, he committed suicide by hanging the dupatta with a fan in suspicious circumstances and committed suicide.
Hanged after talking to fiance
The deceased student was to be married in September. His marriage was decided with a boy named Akash. He spoke to Akash before the incident. According to the students living in the hostel, she was talking to someone in a loud voice after closing the room. After some time everything suddenly calmed down.
When the students called Shivangi, they did not open the door. After a long time, when he did not receive the phone, it was informed to the warden. As soon as the information was received, the warden reached there and gave a voice to open the door. The door still did not open.
After this, when it was seen inside the door, the body of the student was hanging from the fan with the help of dupatta. In a hurry, the girl was taken from the noose and taken to the district hospital. There the doctor declared the student dead.
On receiving the information of the incident, SP Kaustubh of Jaunpur reached the district hospital and inquired about the incident. The SP said that MSc second year student in Biotech Department committed suicide by hanging himself. Prior to the incident, he spoke to his fiance on the phone. However, on the basis of the tahrir of the family, necessary action will be taken by investigating all the points.
