Do not do these things during Panchak

• Do not collect wood and grass at home during Panchak. It is not considered good to do so. Due to this there is fear of fire.
• Do not get the roof installed during Panchak. According to beliefs, by doing this there is a possibility of troubles and loss of money in the house.
• During Panchak, do not perform Mundan Sanskar for auspicious activities like marriage or engagement. There is a possibility of obstruction in these works and auspicious results may not be obtained.
• It is inauspicious to buy or weave a new bed or cot during the Panchak period. This can have a negative impact on the happiness and peace of the house.
• It is advised not to travel in the south direction during Panchak period. There is a possibility of accidents by traveling in this direction during Panchak.
• If someone dies during Panchak, then the last rites should be performed with special rules. . For peace, five effigies are made and burnt along with the dead body.
