Registration for Madhya Pradesh Tourism Quiz-2026 will be done till 25th July. Students from class 9th to 12th can participate. The winning teams will get a chance to take a free tourist tour.
‘Tourism Quiz-2026’ is being organized by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board with the aim of providing information about the glorious history, rich culture, historical heritage, art, natural beauty and tourist places of Madhya Pradesh to the students. To participate in this competition, schools of the state can register online from July 1, 2026 to July 25, 2026 till 5:30 pm. Registration for this quiz will be done through the official website. The objective of the competition is to develop interest in learning through tourism among students and to promote knowledge related to tourism of Madhya Pradesh.
Which students will be able to take part in MP Tourism Quiz 2026?
Students studying from class 9th to 12th in all government, non-government, CBSE and Kendriya Vidyalayas of Madhya Pradesh can participate in this competition. Registration of students will be done through schools, so that more and more children can be included in this state level initiative.
On August 7, ‘Boojho Jaano then Look Apna State’ quiz will be held in all the districts.
Based on the theme ‘Boojho Jaano Phir Dekho Apna Pradesh’, the district level event of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Quiz-2026 will be organized simultaneously in all the districts of the state on August 7, 2026. The questions asked in the competition will be related to tourist places, art, culture, religious heritage, natural wealth and historical heritage of Madhya Pradesh.
District level competition will be organized in two phases
The district level competition will be conducted in two phases. There will be a written examination in the first phase. On the basis of this examination, the best six teams will be selected. After this, in the second phase, audio-visual and multimedia based quiz competition will be organized between these six teams. The school team securing first position in the district will represent its district in the state level competition.
Thousands of students had participated in MP Tourism Quiz 2025
Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department is continuously organizing tourism quiz since the year 2016. Only during the Covid pandemic it could not be organized in the year 2020-21. The tourism quiz organized in the year 2025 got excellent support from the students. 24,489 students took part in the competition, while 8,163 schools had registered their students. These figures are proof that the interest among students to know about the cultural, historical and natural heritage of the state is continuously increasing.
What is the objective of Tourism Quiz-2026?
The main objective of this competition is to introduce students to the historical, cultural, religious and natural tourist places of Madhya Pradesh. Besides, its main goal is to connect them with the rich heritage, tourism possibilities and cultural identity of the state. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board wants the new generation to know, understand the precious heritage of their state and become aware of their conservation.
Winning teams will get a great opportunity to tour Madhya Pradesh tourism
Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will also give attractive prizes to the teams performing excellently in the competition. The first, second and third place teams of each district will be provided coupons for 2 nights and 3 days free tourist tour in hotels of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC).
Apart from this, the fourth, fifth and sixth placed teams will get a coupon for 1 night and 2 days free tourist tour. Under these tourism coupons, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will bear the entire expenses of the students’ travel, accommodation, food and local tours, so that the students can get an opportunity to see and understand the major tourist places of the state closely.
