In MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0, CM Mohan Yadav made many big announcements related to IT park, semiconductor, data center and investment of more than Rs 40 thousand crore.

Bhopal. July 13 was a very important day for Madhya Pradesh in terms of technological development. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated ‘MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0: GCC, Data Center and Semiconductor’ organized at Hotel Taj Lake Front, Bhopal. The program started with the screening of a short film on the development of GCC, Data Center and Semiconductor Technology in the state.

During this, CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated 20 new industrial units. Besides, an important MoU was also signed between Google Play’s India Lead and MPSEDC, which is being considered an important step for the digital ecosystem of the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in his address that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is rapidly moving towards new heights. He said that the era has now passed when questions were raised on the country’s prospects. Today, India is presenting a new example to the world on the basis of its capability, talent and intelligence.

He said that now is not the time to curse the past but to move forward towards the future. In the 12 years of Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India has become one of the fastest growing economies of the world and has created a distinct identity at the global level.

Madhya Pradesh Investment: MP moving beyond agriculture to becoming a technology hub

The Chief Minister said that once the identity of Madhya Pradesh was limited only to agriculture, minerals and forest wealth, but now the state is moving forward rapidly in defense production, drone technology, science and technology, renewable energy, industrial corridors and emerging industries of the future.

He informed that MP Tech Growth Conclave has now reached its third edition. During the last two events, the state received investment proposals worth about Rs 46 thousand crore, 22 industrial units were inaugurated and the foundation stone of four new projects was performed. The Chief Minister said that since the Global Investors Summit 2025, investment worth more than Rs 12 thousand crore has already materialized in the tech sector, which shows the fast working style of the state and the confidence of the investors.

Foreign Investment in MP: Companies from many countries increased investment

Dr. Yadav said that many big companies from Spain, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan and South Korea have so far invested more than Rs 28,200 crore in Madhya Pradesh through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). He informed that Spain’s Barcelona-based Sabmar Group has also reiterated its investment resolve to establish a one gigabyte capacity data center in the state. The state government is fully committed to promoting AI, data centre, semiconductor and other hi-tech industries. He said that Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly in deep tech parks, data centers and AI based industries.

MP Investment News: Preparation to invest more than Rs 40 thousand crores

Chief Secretary Anurag Jain said that after the Global Investors Summit, work on investment worth about Rs 10 lakh crore has started in the state. MP Tech Growth Conclave 3.0 is an important phase of the same industrial growth journey. He said that till now investment worth more than Rs 12 thousand crore has come on the ground in digital and technology sector. During this conclave, big tech companies from India and abroad are moving towards investing more than Rs 40 thousand crores.

Data Center and AI Technology will get new expansion

Principal Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, M. Selvendran said that in this conclave, important discussions will be held regarding the development of GCC, data center and semiconductor sector. Changes will also be made in the policies as per need so that investors can get a better environment.

Sabmar Barcelona CEO Patrick Smith said their investment in Madhya Pradesh is part of a long-term strategic partnership with India. He said that the company’s confidence has been further strengthened with the cooperation of the state government and the Chief Minister. This investment will lead to development in the field of data center and AI technology and will also create new employment opportunities.

Semiconductor Industry: Madhya Pradesh will supply to the world

Siddharth Reddy said that in the first conclave, special emphasis has been given on data center, in the second on semiconductor policy and in the third edition, special emphasis has been given on GCC, data center and semiconductor technology. Paras Semiconductor CEO Santosh Kumar said that in today’s digital era, semiconductor has become the backbone of the economy. He announced that his company will invest Rs 6000 crore in Madhya Pradesh. The company will not be limited to just investment but will also help in creating a strong digital industry ecosystem in the state. Semiconductors manufactured here will be exported to many countries of the world. Shivanand Koteshwar said that Madhya Pradesh is one of the most suitable states for the expansion of tech industry in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, because a large number of skilled human resources are available here.

CM Mohan Yadav Announcement: Big announcements of IT Park and Semiconductor Center of Excellence

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also made many important announcements during the program.

  • A modern IT park will be developed in 3 lakh square feet area in Indore IT Corridor, which will provide world class facilities to GCC, data centers and semiconductor companies.
  • Semiconductor Center of Excellence will be established, which will promote skill development and industry capacity building.
  • A new state-of-the-art IT park will be built in Bhopal in an area of ​​4 lakh square feet.
  • Plug and Play facility will be developed in 5 acres area in Satgarhi Smart Industry Park, which will help new tech companies to start operations faster.
